Editorial policy

How ASN reviews educational content before publication.

ASN publishes operating guidance for home-service businesses. The standard is usefulness supported by traceable evidence, not article volume.

Sources and claims

Platform instructions require current first-party documentation or a dated, reproducible interface check. Internal hypotheses and illustrative calculations must be labeled. Commercial performance claims require primary records and clear definitions.

Customer material

Sales-call anecdotes, messages, screenshots, testimonials and identifying details require permission and appropriate redaction before publication.

Authorship and review

Legacy articles that do not have individual authorship records are attributed to the ASN Editorial Team. Material changes should identify an updated date and reviewer when that information is available.

Corrections

Substantive corrections should be made in place when the page still serves the same user need. Overlapping pages may be consolidated into one stronger guide with direct redirects from retired equivalents.

Publication control

Generation creates a private draft. Review and approval are tied to the exact content version. Editing an approved draft invalidates approval, and only a published version can enter the public blog or sitemap.
